The First Entry

Welcome to Front Line Geek!!!

This is the first posting on any blog in a blog format and I hope to do many more.  From the title of the site, you can imagine that this is going to have something to do with technology.  My intention is to post commentary and perhaps reviews on existing, new and up and coming technology.  The difference that I plan on having in my blog (Compared to the MANY tech bloggers and blogs out there) is to take my near 15 years in the IT industry and apply it to what I am seeing and hearing from the news and from other bloggers/journalists.  I feel that there is a major disconnect in the reporting field on technology.

In particular, I feel that there is far too little thought put into how the common, non-geek or tech journalist, consumer is looking at these products or how it is they are supposed to use them.
