Off Site Backups...

Well, the subject that after years, I myself, have still not addressed.  No more.  As I am getting ready to build a Windows Home Server again, I need to seriously address the lack of offsites.

Courtesy of this article and this one, I believe that my choice is IDrive.  It has support for WHS, is a modest ~$5 per month and still allows for 150 GB of storage.  This should suffice for pictures and other irreplaceable data.  I have no intention of trying to back up all of the data that is going to be on my WHS box as that is over 1 TB AND…  the vast majority of it is replaceable TV and movie content.

In a perfect world, I would have picked Jungle Disk but Amazon charges a FORTURE for its S3 service that runs Jungle Disk.

If you are not doing offsite backups, get to it!!!
