<p>That being said, I felt I deserved some kind of treat after all this time and since it was clear that Samsung Canada/Bell was not going to deliver any further updates or improvements for the SGS.  Enter <a href="http://www.cyanogenmod.com/">CyanogenMod</a>&#8230;</p>

<p>As a cord cutter, the first thing I did when Netflix announced they were coming to Canada was to watch with such baited breath that I am pretty sure I was the very first person in Canada to sign up, if not VERY close to the top. &nbsp;The LAST thing on my mind was paying for a service again.</p>

<p>I am not quick at all to trust corporations to do anything but protect their bottom line but Apple has a LONG proven track record of fleecing their customer at every turn and of lies at worst and disingenuousness at best. &nbsp;Things like selling the majority of their wares at up to 4 times the cost of manufacture, false advertising, fear mongering and any number of other things.</p>
